okeeeey. You gotta clam down little boy. And shut up by the way.
They seem to need some cleaning-up-in-the-lines down there.
Or they could be undercover cops that got outted and a much deserved ass-whoopin.
Slovakia, you broke-dick keyboard commando. You know your servile, jackbooted daddy made you a white supremacist eunuch the first time he sodomized you in the name of Adolf Hitler. Don't try to pass your pain off on real fighting men.
You gotta face your own trauma.
Unfortunately there are some gangs taking advantage of the situation. Looting shops, mugging and beating demonstrators. The cops aren't doing much about it.
The gangs consists of youths from the poor (yeah, really poor) suburbs. Many drug addicts and petty criminals, totally apolitic. Very sad indeed.
What's encouraging is that those criminals are only a few hundred. At the same time tens of thousands of other youths from the poor suburbs are participating in the protests, and they are not acting like assholes.
In other words; My guess is that the criminality between protesters are lower then they "should" be statistically speaking.
Its just shocking that hundreds maybe thousands of people apear to be watching in horror as some protestors get assaulted by gang bangers and not steping in to help them. Are they all just waiting for somebody else to take care of it? are they apeasing them and just trying to remain unnoticed by them? Whats it take to get them to intervene, rape? Why are they willing to confront the state but not protect each other from these ignorent thugs? Some comrades they are to each other. very disapointing.
not this case necessarily but some of the "infighting" seesm to be rich kids getting robbed by poor kids
maybe he was a pacifist
Some accounts and comments on the infighting on March 23rd is still relevant and can be read here: Reflections on the violence within Thursdays demonstrations
I've also heard that the people getting beat up by the "Cassuers" are in fact student and union marshals trying to stop them from destroying property, fighting the police, and generally rioting. I don't know if that's true though.
Clearly from the photos you can tell that they also target people who take pictures of them (both professional journalists and other demonstrators, remember there are a lot of under-cover police in the demos, and photographic evidence is used against rioters all the time). This is something I've seen done at riots I've been at and it's a reasonable step to protect each other from being arrested and going to jail.
In any case, this is part of the ugly reality of serious class conflict. I think it's vitally important that the youth from the suburbs are joining the anti-CPE fight; together with the students and unions there is a real chance to win. The revolutionary potential is there!
That makes sense, But they realy ought to take the initiative of masking up if they are going to fight the man, Then they would not need to beat down journalists. Its kind of rediculous, i know they are poor as hell but how much money does it cost over there for a freakin bandana.
